Department coordination
Your request goes through the Cranston PD detail desk. The department assigns officers and confirms the rate.
Pre-event briefing
We connect with you 24-48 hours before the event to confirm specifics: parking, contact person, access, expectations.
On-site presence
Officers arrive 15 minutes before the start window. Uniformed, visible, and authorized to act if needed.
Invoice and after-action
Billed through the department detail process. Brief written after-action note delivered with the invoice.
Pricing
Detail rates are set by Cranston PD and are non-negotiable. Most clients budget the following ranges, with a 4-hour minimum for most engagements:
- Standard officer detail: ~$75-95 per hour, 4-hour minimum
- Supervisor (sergeant) detail: ~$95-115 per hour
- Holiday and overnight rates may apply
- Vehicle add-on (cruiser presence): supplemental charge
